How to Add Teams to Your Event
Below are step-by-step instructions for how to add teams to your event as an event administrator.
Teams can be added in three methods: single, bulk, or by .CSV import
When teams have been added, by either of the methods, be sure that you have added an email for the teams 'Club Admin' in order for them to receive access for their team in your event
Add Team: Single
1. Navigate to https://zortssports.com and log into your account
2. Select your organization and the specific event
3. Click the 'Teams' tabs
4. Click the 'Add' button
5. Select 'Single'
6. Enter the team Name, Club Admin's Email, Address of club admin/coach or team, and Division(s).
a. If a team has additional divisions then be sure to enter all of their divisions at the same time
7. Enter any additional divisions for the team by clicking 'Add Team/Division'.
8. After you have entered all of the teams divisions then click 'Save'.
Add Team: Bulk
1. Navigate to https://zortssports.com and log into your account
2. Select your organization and the specific event
3. Click the 'Teams' tabs
4. Click the 'Add' button
5. Click 'Bulk'.
6. Select which divisions the teams you are currently inputting will be entered into by checking the boxes beside the division.
7. Enter the team names that will be entered into the selected divisions, then 'Save'.
8. Go back through the Bulk Added Teams in order to enter the Club Admin's email for each team
9. Enter the Club Admin's email then 'Update'
Add Team: Import
Please note, when importing, it is best to make sure that all divisions in your event have a name. If the divisions does not have a name, then all tables/catagories must be filled out in order for the template to upload properly.
To name divisions, select 'Teams' > 'Divisions' tabs, select a division, scroll down slightly and enter a name in the 'Age Name' field. The name can simply be the division (e.g., 6U) or any other name you desire.

3. Click the 'Teams' tabs
4. Click the 'Add' button
5. Select 'Import'
6. Click 'Here' to download a template (if needed) that you may fill out to import your teams with.
7. When you have your document all ready to go and saved as a .CSV file, click 'Choose File'.
8. Click 'Import'
